The first person who recognized the sublimity and holiness
of Bahá’u’lláh and became certain that He would manifest a momentous Cause was
Mullá ‘Abdu’l-Karím-i-Qazvíní, whom the Báb had named Mírzá Ahmad. He was the
intermediary between the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh and was aware of the truth of the
matter.
